The Relentless is professionally operated and fully licensed, insured, and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard.
1. How far out do you go when you charter for the day?
That depends on your trip length, the time of year, and what you are fishing for. We won’t go any further than we have to, but will go however far we need to catch fish.
2. Can we bring children on the boat?
Absolutely. This is a family-friendly boat. Kids do very well on board. The bigger ones often out fish the adults and the tiny ones go to sleep the minute the motors “crank”.
3. Is there a place to get out of the sun and cool off?
Yes! We have a full-sized, air-conditioned salon with comfortable seating and large windows so you can relax inside while still keeping an eye on the action outside.
4. Can we bring beer on board?
Yes – Everything in moderation! Beer in cans is preferred.
5. How much tip is customary?
A customary tip is around 20% of the total trip cost. Tip based on how well the crew takes care of you and how much you enjoyed your experience.
6. Is fish cleaning included in the fees?
Fish cleaning is included in the tip for the mate.
7. Can I bring my….
91-year old father, a cousin in a wheelchair, my baby in a carrier, or someone who just wants to watch?
YES, YES, YES, and YES again. We have not found anyone yet that we cannot accommodate or manage to get onboard safely and comfortably, with dignity intact. Bring ’em all!
8. What happens to our deposit if the weather is bad?
If weather prevents the trip from going out, you can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of your deposit.
9. What happens to our deposit if we cancel?
- If you cancel last minute, we’ll do our best to rebook and return your deposit.
- No-shows, unfortunately, forfeit the deposit.
- If you give us plenty of notice, we’ll refund your deposit.
FYI… In 35 years of business, we’ve never had a deposit issue—you won’t be the first!

- More than 14 days before your trip: No cancellation fee.
- Within 14 days of your trip: A $200 cancellation fee applies.
