How far out do you go when you charter for the day?

That depends on how long your trip is, what time of year it is and what you are fishing for that day. We won’t go any further than we have to, but will go however far we need to catch fish.

Can we bring children on the boat?

Absolutely. This is a family-friendly boat. Kids do very well on board. The bigger ones often out fish the adults and the tiny ones go to sleep the minute the motors “crank”.

Is there a place to get out of the sun and cool off?

We have a full size, air conditioned salon with plenty of seating inside, by a window, where you can cool off and keep up with what is happening on deck.

How much tip is customary?

A customary tip is around 15% of your trip cost. You can gauge this by how well our mate does and how you enjoy your trip.

Is fish cleaning included in the fees?

Fish cleaning is included in the tip for the mate.

Can I bring my 91-year old father, my cousin in a wheelchair, my baby in a carrier or my sister that doesn’t want to fish, but would like to watch?

The answer is YES, YES, YES, and YES again. We have not found anyone yet that we can not accommodate or manage to get onboard with very little trouble and keeping everyone’s dignity in tact. Bring ’em all!

What happens to our deposit if the weather is bad and we cannot make our trip?

In the event the weather does not allow you to fish we will return your deposit unless you reschedule for another day.

What happens to our deposit if we cancel?

If you cancel at the last minute we will try our best to rebook the day and return your deposit. If you give us plenty of notice, we will return your deposit. If you don’t show up then your deposit is lost. FYI..We have not had a deposit “issue” in 35 years of fishing. You will not be the first so not to worry.
